Deepika Lohia Aran receives two-year continuation as CVO of National Institute of Fashion Technology

The assignment period of Deepika Lohia Aran as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the National Institute of Fashion Technology has been prolonged by an additional two years.

As per a notification released by the Department of Personnel and Training on Tuesday (May 12, 2026), the authorized authority has cleared the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Textiles to continue her tenure for another two-year duration beyond September 21, 2026, meaning up to September 21, 2028, or until subsequent directions are issued, whichever occurs earlier.

Importantly, Deepika Lohia Aran has occupied the role since September 21, 2023. Prior to the end of her initial tenure, she has now obtained a further two-year continuation.
