Prabhat Kumar, Horticulture Commissioner, has been given additional charge of the position of Chief Executive Officer (Joint Secretary level), Coconut Development Board (CDB).
As per an order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) cleared the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for assigning him additional charge of the post for a tenure of six months.
He will carry the additional responsibility with effect from April 6, 2026 to October 5, 2026 or until further directions, whichever is earlier.
